Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid LEXUMAN subscriptions.
1. Cancel anytime
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.
2. Refund window
We offer a refund within [7] days of your first payment on any paid plan, provided you have also not used more than 5% of that billing period's included contract analyses, capped at a maximum of 5 analyses. Both conditions — the time window and the usage limit — must be met. Worked examples:
- Pro (40 analyses / month): refund eligible if you have used 2 analyses or fewer.
- Pro Plus and Pro Max (100 analyses / month or per included period): refund eligible if you have used 5 analyses or fewer (the cap applies).
The refund usage threshold is based on usage during your current paid billing period. Free-tier usage from before you started a paid subscription does not count toward this threshold.
Renewal charges after the first payment are generally non-refundable, but we consider genuine hardship cases — please reach out.
3. What is not refundable
- Payments where usage in the current billing period already exceeds the threshold in section 2 (5% of included analyses, capped at 5).
- Quota that has already been used in the current period.
- Add-ons or one-time purchases once they have been consumed.
- Charges older than the refund window above.
4. How to request a refund
Email [billing@yourdomain.com] from the address on your account with your order reference and a short note about why you'd like a refund. We aim to respond within 3 business days.
5. Processing time
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank and country, it typically takes 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
6. Free plan
The free tier has no payment and therefore nothing to refund. Free usage from before you started a paid subscription does not count toward the refund usage threshold in section 2. You can delete your account at any time from settings.
